ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION

The October 19, 2025 Arbor Day Tree Planting of a Taco Oak, with horticulturist Guy Sternberg of Starhill Forest Arboretum in Petersburg, IL. Guy developed the Taco Oak from a single oak tree which was growing (and thriving) in a very unlikely location in Springfield, IL, making its background story a bit of a heroic tale.
